Gluten Free-ish

Hey. I am gluten free since…monday? so wednesday was day three? Ok, so not completely gluten free because it turns out there is wheat in my multi-vitamin that i cannot afford to replace until tomorrow. so i totally think that means i should be able to just have a damned biscuit. totally. i mean, already getting the gluten, right?! right.

so i have not managed to stick to a calorie budget and did pretty good recording what i ate the first day and a half…then it went down hill from there when I was STARVING for anything food like tuesday night.

scott and the roomie still eat gluten and i’ve actually made gluten-filled dinners twice in a row. tuesday night i made spaghetti but I got myself some gluten free noodles. yeah…here is my photo essay on that…

Hey, I like Pasta!

It doesn’t LOOK very good but here goes nothing!

Um…wow. that is um…I feel like I’m in that VitaMeataVegamin commercial without the benefit of the booze..ugh.

So that brand is out!

Scott has been supportive in the GF thing in that he will tell me not to quit now. I totally want to though to be perfectly honest. I feel like it is too much right now, like life is winning the “beat Maggie up” competition and I should get comfort where I can BUT that is not the healthy choice so I’m tryin.

Also, I’m off my probiotic because I ran out before getting more monies BUT even so, I think the (mostly) lack of gluten is having a positive effect on my gas. it smells different anyway. don’t you love when I share?

Ninja says I need to vlog, that it is good for my brain. I say that right now it is awesome I am blogging at all so hush up.

blah blah blah blah

How are y’all doing?

Keep Changing, Keep Growing,

Maggie C

I actually love the De Boles brand but I don’t really like the spiral noodles because I find they don’t hand onto any sauce very well.
